Xiaomi 8 Youth Edition 6GB + 64GBOriginal price 1699, 200 discount during the New Year's Festival, final price 1499

Also received a Mi Fan card, I may not use it anymore

2280 x 1080 FHD+, 403 PPI, 1500:1 contrast ratio
Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE octa-core processor, maximum frequency 2.2GHz
Adreno 512 GPU, maximum frequency 650 MHz

Some people may say that 64GB is not enough, my previous Xiaomi phone was only 32GB, and I haven't used it up in two years. After buying it, I found out that the Xiaomi 8 also supports external SD cards. It's completely sufficient with my 32GB SD card. It's enough, no need to waste money on a larger memory...

Power on

MIUI9, not planning to upgrade for now. Although MIUI10 is said to be the fastest version, there are some parts that I don't really like

3350mAh (typ) / 3250mAh (min)
Supports QC3.0 fast charging
Comes with a 5V2A charger
USB Type-C charging port
The back cover is made of glass, but it does not support wireless charging. It's slippery without a case, afraid of dropping it on the ground

AI dual camera
Front 24MP, SONY IMX576, 4-in-1, 1.8um large pixels
Rear 12MP, SONY IMX363, 1.4um large pixels, f/1.9 large aperture, Dual PD dual-core focus
Rear 5MP, SAMSUNG S5K5E8, 1.12um large pixels
Due to the dual cameras and thin design, the back is slightly raised, it will wobble on a table, but it's balanced with a case on

Overall, Xiaomi phones have high cost performance and are worth buying. Thumbs up

So I went from being a Mi Fan to a Sony Fan and bought the XZ1 (even though it's second-hand)

I was just about to buy a Xiaomi 8 for my mom during the Chinese New Year, and then I saw your review haha. Still debating between the Youth Edition and the SE, as well as the price.

@Jiuri: If you have the money, buy the most expensive one. I think the newly released Redmi Note 7 has good cost performance.
